FAQ
1. Figures & accessories are NOT included.
2. Soft images provide appropriate display environment without distracting from figure. Posters NOT meant to be hung by themselves-that isn't their purpose. Experimenting, we found detail level can take focus from figure making things too busy, and an almost "impressionistic" image (like a matte painting) works much better. This is NOT a quality issue, it is by CHOICE AND DESIGN. We realize when it comes to the arts, many things are subjective and some may prefer super sharp detail; we don't use that style in our own displays and we don't sell it either because it doesn't work as well - if you want sharp please do not buy from us and look elsewhere.
3. Due to differences between pixels, ink & screen displays, colors may vary from what you see on your monitor.
4. Posters are NOT mounted, and we don't do mounting/framing - for that please refer to your local office supply, art, craft & framing shops.
5. Poster sizes may vary by approximately 1/8th inch.
6. "Base" is the poster in a set that pictures ground/deck/floor and NOT an actual base that the back plugs into, only a 2nd poster to set on shelf below figures.
7. If you're concern about possible figure discoloration from long term contact to poster ink when setting figures on a base poster, use a clear barrier such as acetate between poster and figure. This IS NOT a known issue - only a precaution - we would rather be overly careful than risk damage to anyone's collectibles. We've had figures displayed for several years on a base poster, and they have been fine (but we don't have any figures with white boots or feet).
8. Posters ship rolled in a mailing tube with end caps. We combine shipping - highest price + $2 each additional.
9. International buyers please note import duties, taxes, etc. are not included in item/shipping price and are the buyer's responsibility (check your local customs office to determine cost before bidding/buying).
10. Detolf & Besta sized printed on light-weight satin 24# paper; DX, 1/4 Scale & all other sizes printed on matte paper (unless you specify otherwise BEFORE purchasing - additional charge may apply).
11. To protect poster, apply shipping tape permanently to the poster back to cover areas where you will be using adhesive or tape. Then apply your tape or adhesive as usual - but only to the areas protected by shipping tape. This way tape/adhesive may be removed without ripping the poster if it needs to be re-positioned or moved.
12. For Detolf sized posters, to display in a Detolf shelf:
A. Mount poster on foam core board, or
B. Mount inside or outside Detolf shelf against glass using adhesive putty or tape (inside will cut down on glare).
13. Please don't buy and then leave negative feedback about the pricing - the supplies we use are expensive, shipping is expensive, we put a lot of time into these backdrops and that is of a necessity reflected in the price. If you're not happy with the price please don't buy from us.
14. If your poster is damaged in shipping please provide an image of the tube and poster damage, and we will send a replacement out to you.
