RB K/L series lenses are optically identical to the high performance lenses Mamiya manufactures for the RZ series cameras. The difference is the fully mechanical leaf shutters in the RB lenses due to the manual operation of RB bodies.

The 180 f4.56 K/L will consistently produce images with the same quality as the pro's. Try it wide open for portraits to get great subject/background separation.
