This is a marvelous piece of Inuit/Eskimo sculpture hand made in Canada. The mother is holding her baby on her back. The tag on the bottom says "Canada" at the top and further down it says, "Eskimo Art Esquimou."
I acquired it in 1968 so it is at least 50 years old. It is in excellent condition.
It is about 4" high, almost 2" wide and about 1.75 inches deep. It weighs about 8 ounces.
