Sony Pictures came out with an animated movie in 2006 called Open Season. This is the first full length animated feature film for Sony Pictures Animation. The movie stars Boog the Bear who starts out living in a Park Ranger's garage. He makes friends with Elliot the Mule Deer after rescuing him from the hood of a truck. Elliot gets Boog into trouble twice. First, he tricks Boog into trashing the local convenience store, and the next day gets Boog in further trouble by messing up his wildlife show in town. It is then that Ranger Beth realizes that she can no longer keep her beloved bear, and sends him (along with Elliot) back to the national forest right outside town. There Boog and Elliot encounter all sorts of animals, and team up together to fight off the hunters during hunting season.The PEZ series features four of the characters from the movie: Boog the Grizzly Bear (voice by Martin Lawrence), Elliot the Mule Deer (voice by Ashton Kutcher), Mr Weenie the dog (voice by Gordon Tootoosis), and McSquizzy the squirrel (voice by Billy Connolly).
