Also covers several generic machines. it is more complete on the subject of the Singer small sewing machine line than found in the classic book by Glenda Thomas. 
 
Experienced in writing educational curriculum, the author applies a style that is concise and accurate. He has also sold Singer miniature sewing machines on eBay for a number of years and includes in the booklet a price guide for purchasing individual machines and accessories. Due to lower demand for the Singer 20 machine in recent years, prices have been revised downward from the previous 2012 edition.

The guide is a valuable resource for anyone collecting Singer girl's sewing machines. It protects the novice from purchasing a machine that is missing parts, whose vintage is misrepresented by the seller, or has the wrong accessories for a particular model. It also provides those who already have a vintage Singer toy machine with interesting information about their antique.
