Philco "Big Bullet" Art Deco Tabletop Wood Case AM SW Tube Radio Model 37-610
Up for auction is a 1937 Philco "Big Bullet", Art Deco wood case, AM SW tube radio model 37-610. This beauty is in excellent working condition and operating as it should. As you can see in the pictures, the wood case looks beautiful except for the usual minor scratches and nicks from use, see photos. The AM and SW (Short Wave) bands work great and all the stations come in clear, loud and accurate, external antenna is required in both bands (not included). I was able to pick-up some of the South East WI AM stations such as 620 WTMJ, 920 WOKY, 1130 WISN and also few Illinois AM channels such as 720 WGN, 780 WBBM, 890 WLS. Also, I was able to pick-up a lot of short-wave broadcast radios from all over the World such as Christian Radio Broadcasts, Spanish SW channels and much more. All tubes tested good in my calibrated Hickok TV-7/U tube tester. The tube radio is about 20 1/4" wide, 9" deep and 11 1/4" high.
This is an excellent tube radio that looks like it has been well cared for and operates as it should. Please super-size the photos and feel free to ask questions.
