Here we have a syphilis awareness poster issued by New York City, Department of Corrections. Our original source image dates from 1937 or 1938 as part of the WPA, Works Progress Administration. Our posters are shipped in sturdy mailing tubes, fully insured!

This poster is printed on heavy, 230 gsm (10 pt cover), premium matte art paper. Posters are centered on full sized paper to accommodate readily available frames or custom matting. The image size refers specifically to the artwork itself, not the size of the paper it is printed on. Therefore, the paper size is always larger than the image size.  All posters have a minimum 1/4" white border.
