 In 2001 PEZ offered a special promotion with 4 different Cereal brands using Mini-PEZ packaged with the cereal boxes: Honey Nut Cheerio's Bee, Cocoa Puffs Cuckoo Bird, Lucky Charms Leprechaun, and the Trix Rabbit. 

In 2010 GEICO Insurance company, building on its Gecko mascot, issued a Geico Gecko PEZ.

Also in 2010, The Chuck E Cheese restaurant and kids play station issued a PEZ of their mascot, Chuck E Cheese.

In 2016, SciTec Nutrition issued a PEZ featuring their spokesman, Ben Pakuski.  Ben Pakulski, nicknamed Pak-Man, is an IFBB professional bodybuilder. He teaches seminars and coaches aspiring bodybuilders with his education in nutrition and exercise science. He is the creator of MI40, a best-selling muscle building program.

The Sparefroh is an advertising character currently used by the First Bank of Austria.  The character began in 1956 in Germany but was much more popular in Austria and the Austrian Savings Bank Association requested that all Austrian Banks use the character in their advertising of World Savings Day. In 2006, a big push to revive the character began as the 50th Anniversary of Sparefroh. It continues to be a part of World Savings Day and in 2010 a special edition PEZ was issued to all who opened savings accounts in any Austrian bank.

The Sumsi Bee is a mascot for the Raiffeisen Bank in Austria and was produced as a PEZ dispenser for World Savings Day, October 31, 2013. The Mascot, wearing a backwards baseball cap sits on a yellow stem that is printed "Sumsi". These promotional pez were distributed to people who made deposits to their savings accounts in celebration of Worlds Savings Day in Austria.

Viktor Käsebeisser Mouse is a mascot for the Volkskreditbank Bank in Austria and was produced as a pez dispenser for World Savings Day in Oct. of 2013. These promotional pez were distributed to people who made deposits to their savings accounts in celebration of Worlds Savings Day in Austria.

Bundesrat is one of the five permanent constitutional organs of the Federal Republic of Germany.  To promote public safety for children, a safety game was created and given away to children in 2005. A two character PEZ issue was included using the iconized modern logo of a German Boy and German Girl used in the game.

The Energizer Bunny which came out in 2017 as a Kroger Grocery Store exclusive.

Jack in the Box came out in 1999, initially as a promo for the fast food restaurant of the same name.  It was a short run special series which makes it available but hard to find. There were three stem color variations: Red, Blue, and Yellow.  

Kyoro-Chan is a Japanese bird that serves as mascot for Chocoball, a brand of chocolate made by the Morinaga Company.  Kyoro-Chan had his own animae series in the late 90's plus a Nintendo video game. (Japanese release). In 2007, a Japanese PEZ issue of 4 different Kyoro birds hit the market: Kyoro Banana, Kyoro Strawberry, Kyoro Peanut, and Kyoro Caramel.

Zielpunkt is an Austrian supermarket chain with a geographical focus on Eastern Austria. PEZ has often done promotions with various chain stores, and in 1999 they issued Zielpunkt Kid, a 3-D rendering of one of Zielpunkt's logos.
