In 1991, a polar bear was added to the Christmas series and it looked so much like the Icee Bear logo of the frozen drink company that it has become known as the Icee Bear.  There were two stem varieties - white and purple.  In 1998, the look was updated to a more whimsical face (Icee B).  Two stem varieties were white and blue.  Black and Brown misfit bear varieties were available as a special mail-in offer that year. In 1999, using their Bear mascot theme, F.A.O. Schwarz Toy Stores had a special bear series issued (Icee "C"). There are several stem colors: Red, Blue, Yellow, and Magenta. PEZ also issued a Cinnamon Bear that year (Icee "D"). In 2001 The Minnesota Twins Baseball team had a special edition bear (Icee E) issued wearing the TC hat of the team (Twin Cities).
