I've been in the skin care business for 23 years now as a Licensed Esthetician so I have worked with many different product lines as well as essential oil companies. Through all my training/education I have discovered that the most powerful, results driven products were the ones that contained essential oils. I formulated this blend with in my opinion the top firming essential oils (especially Frankincense) & super hydrating carrier oils, which are equally important in this blend. It is non-comedogenic as well...Sometimes people think "oil" & instantly shy away because they think "break-out". That happens when products have mineral oil or petroleum in them that actually seal the skin. All my blends only contain oils that your skin can recognize & actually absorb in to a deeper level with all the nutrients it needs to stay firm, hydrated & healthy! 

How to use: In the evening after cleansing, apply a few drops of oil to the palm of your hands then apply to your face, neck & decollete. Gently massage the oil into the skin. wait a few minutes then apply your moisturizer if needed. A few drops of oil can be added to your daytime moisturizer as well. 

*Store in a cool/dark place, out of direct sunlight for preservation of the oils

*Best when used in 12 months. 

*Always patch test an area on the skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

At Keeley Organics we only use Organic essential oils in all of our oil blends as well as our aromatherapy inhalers & skin care products because so many essential oils out there are adulterated. They add other synthetic ingredients or they are processed with solvents. Those ingredients are then inhaled or absorbed through the skin & into the body. The organic essential oils cost a bit more but I feel it's well worth it when it comes to our health. 

Why the skin benefits from this unique formulation:

Frankincense essential oil: As a Cytophylactic, Frankincense Oil promotes regeneration of healthy cells and also keeps the existing cells and tissues healthy. When you combine this aspect of frankincense oil with its powerful astringent capabilities, you have a potent anti-aging quality that frankincense oil is often used for. It can help you to eliminate sun spots, remove fine lines, tone and tighten skin all over your face & body.

Rose Geranium essential oil:Because geranium oil is an astringent it has the power to minimize the look of wrinkles because it tightens facial skin and slows down the effects of aging. Geranium oil promotes cell growth; it helps to recycle dead cells and supports the regeneration of new cells. 

Neroli essential oil:It’s known for its ability to regenerate the skin cells and improve the elasticity of skin. It also helps maintain the right oil balance in the skin, making it an excellent choice for all skin types. Due to its ability to revive skin at the cellular level, neroli essential oil can be beneficial for wrinkles, scars and stretch marks. Any skin condition caused by or related to stress should also respond well to the use of neroli essential oil since it has wonderful overall healing and calming abilities. 

Sandalwood essential oil:Sandalwood is high in antioxidants that can help reduce damage caused by free radicals, which promote aging. Very healing.

Carrier oils:

Jojoba oil:This oil is most like are own natural sebum so our bodies recognize & absorb it in. Which makes it a great oil to blend essential oils in so they will be absorbed in to the skin on a deeper level. jojoba oil works as a protectant and cleanser. Jojoba oil is rich in iodine, which fights harmful bacteria growth that leads to breakouts. The antioxidants present in jojoba oil soothe fine lines, wrinkles and naturally slow down other signs of aging.Grapeseed oil:A good oil for those whose skin does not seem to absorb oils easily. It absorbs well without feeling greasy. It contains vitamins, minerals, protein, GLA and some vitamin E.

Evening Primrose oil:

High in GLA-GAMA and Linolenic acid. Excellent for dry, aging or chapped skin. It's high GLA makes it valuable for the healthy functioning of body tissues. It's an excellent moisturizer as well & treats many skin conditions. I use it in my eczema blend as well as any blend for hormonal skin imbalance (hormonal acne). 

Raspberry seed oil:

Anti-aging benefits due to content of ellagic acid (an antioxidant). Studies show that elegiac acid “reduced the destruction of collagen and inflammatory response, both major causes of wrinkles.” It also protects against ultraviolet damage. Very high in Vitamin E – an antioxidant. Antioxidants in skin care are important to prevent oxidative damage, which can lead to premature skin aging and skin cancer. High levels of phytosterols that can help reduce trans-epidermal water loss, thereby helping to keep skin moisturized.Phytosterols also help to repair skin damaged by environmental factors including sun damage.

Camellia seed oil:

Camellia oil is also commonly known as tea seed oil, as it is the essential oil from the seeds of the tea plant. High levels of oleic acid (more than 80%).This oil can help smooth rough patches of skin and lock in moisture, making this an ideal remedy for people whose skin is regularly exposed to the elements. It can also minimize the appearance of wrinkles and keep your skin feeling young and healthy.

Squalane oil (derived from olives):

Besides its anti-aging effects, it helps maintain healthy skin. Squalane is rapidly absorbed and spreads easily over the skin surface without leaving an oily or greasy feeling. Squalane is a natural part of human skin and plays an important role in the repair of damaged skin.

Vitamin E oil:

The first role of tocopherols (Vitamin E) in skin care is to protect from environmental stressors. Tocopherols also helps tighten and firm the look of skin which makes vitamin E the perfect addition to any anti-aging formula.Vitamin E has a long reputation as an effective moisturizer. Not only does it hydrate, but it moisturizes — this can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
