VERY RARE 'THAT WOMAN'S GOT ME DRINKIN' DRAWING BY SHANE MACGOWAN (POPES/POGUES)

Last year a music business colleague of ours bought a collection of Shane MacGowan letters, drawings and lyrics at auction. Full story to the buyer, but involves an unpaid bill by MacGowan (!)

We have just purchased the majority of this collection - a number of drawings, lyrics, poems, doodles etc etc.

We are starting with this one, as it's probably my favourite piece.

This was the drawing that led to the Popes legendary 1994 song 'That Woman's Got Me Drinking'.

100% authentic, an amazing piece, the item will come with a signed letter of authentication.

The last photo of this listing shows some more of the collection - those MacGowan scholars amongst you will recognise his writing, and drawing style.

Measuring A4, The drawing (with red pen in-fill) is in excellent condition, and is pretty much in the same condition that it left MacGowan's desk/pub table.
