Here we have a great poster issued during World War Two as motivation for America's women to work and participate in the war effort. Such women, affectionately dubbed "Rosie The Riveter" were an integral part of the ultimate US victory in the war. This poster was issued in 1943 by the U.S. Government Printing Office for Women Ordnance Workers. Captioned "The girl he left behind" is still behind him -- She's a WOW", the original artwork was by Adolph Treidler. Our posters are shipped in sturdy mailing tubes, fully insured!

This poster is printed on heavy, 230 gsm (10 pt cover), premium matte art paper. Posters are centered on full sized paper to accommodate readily available frames or custom matting. The image size refers specifically to the artwork itself, not the size of the paper it is printed on. Therefore, the paper size is always larger than the image size.  All posters have a minimum 1/4" white border.
