"The Rail Road Suspension Bridge", dated to 1856 although ours has been reproduced from a later printing. The bride was near Niagara Falls and spanned 822 feet, 240 feet above water. The bridge was designed by John A. Roebling whose most famous achievement is the Brooklyn Bridge. The falls can be seen in the background, along with the "Maid Of The Mist" navigating the waterway. The artwork was by noted Currier & Ives employee, Charles Parsons. Our posters are shipped in sturdy mailing tubes, fully insured!
