SALE - marked down from $1,500!! A beautiful and scarce 18th century blue and white pewter-mounted Enghalskrug or ceramic jug, the body is hand-decorated with a design of birds and flowers. The pewter hinged cover is embellished with an acorn knob and inscribed 'MH', dated '1773'.  Hand-marked to the bottom with the symbol of the company or decorator probably named Fisher.  Measuring 11"T x 6"W x 5"D, this remarkable piece is in good antique condition with some bending to the pewter base which does not affect the stability of the jug. Please see all photographs as an important part of the description.
