Here we have a black-and-white aerial photo of a section of Osaka, Japan as leveled during fire-bomb attacks by Superfortresses in a long series of heavy raids during the months that preceded Japan's capitulation in World War II. Osaka was bombed during March 13th and 14th, 1945.
