Vintage Mid-Century Singer Sewing Machine Model 401A Parts!

Part numbers are not shown in the menu due to space constraints. If you need part numbers or more information, please contact me with your questions prior to purchase. I also posted a photo of a list of part numbers/names (3 pages). Some parts are assemblies with each individual part having it's own number, I did not identify each part number in these instances. This listing contains parts from several machines, including early and late model 401A's. Please note that there are some differences between early and late 401 models, contact me should you have any questions.

NOTES: I have noted several parts highlighted in Yellow in the Parts Schedule as follows:
Note # 1. Item 4886. These gears were mated at the factory to fit and work together. You must change both gears for best results.
Note # 2. Item 4914. Includes the small left-hand threaded screw for this assembly.
Note # 3. Item 4916. The glass lens has a chip on the outer edge, located where the metal clip would land on the inside edge. The inside edge is fine, and the clip holds the lens firmly, but please do not over-tighten the clip screw.
Note # 4. Item 4935. Lamp fixture. I am including the light bulb but DO NOT warranty that it will arrive in working condition. I am supplying it solely for reference only.
Note # 5. Item 4947. Original 401A cordset is in good condition.
Note # 6. Item 4953. The slot in the nylon screw plug was a bit chewed up when I got it. The threads are good and it will still thread ok with a proper size screwdriver.
Note # 7. Item 4961. These gears were mated at the factory to fit and work together. You must change both gears for best results.
Note # 8. Item 4974. These gears were mated at the factory to fit and work together. You must change both gears for best results.
Note # 9. Item 5232. One hole on each plate is slightly enlarged (from removal).
Note # 10. Item 5429. Gear has a damaged tooth. All other parts are good.
I have tried to combine associated parts together. I am not able to separate single items from listed combinations.

All items are offered "AS IS". These are all used parts showing wear and tear. Electrical parts such as motors, lamps, switches, sockets, plugs, etc., are all in working order. Insulation on old wires may be brittle, so handle with care. Damaged parts are not returnable. Returns are accepted within 30 days on all items as long as items are returned in the same condition as they were sent.
