Here up for sale is a May 1969 issue of Model Car Science magazine in used condition.  Contains articles including 1 page featuring 10 types of AJ's wheels and tires, new product debuts from the '69 hobby show including kits of the Ghost of the Red Baron, the 1/12 Red Baron, Cox gas dune buggy, 1/24 brass chassis by Phaze II and Buzco; highlights of the first 1969 MCS/USRA LA road race at Speed &  Sport raceway; modifying the Monogram Tijuana Taxi kit to have working suspension, wiring up 'the ultimate HO track', modifying the Jo-Han Torino model into a Petty version; custom combining car model bodies, and building a Baja Basher fromRevell's 3-in-1 VW kit.

Ads include inner cover ad for the Monogram Ghost of the Red Baron, Discount Hobby Distributors catalog listing various hop-up 1/24 slot parts, AJ's Marauders threaded HO wheels, Auto World 1/32 controller, Cobra brand large scale gears, Hobby House HO parts catalog from Monroe La, AMT kits sweepstakes, Machrina mini-bikes, Mura B Production motor, Mini Wheels Tags Mags wheels/tires, Revell Mexican Bug model kit, Frisco Sleeper and Ding-a-Ling IMC models, an inner back cover ad for AMT '69 Opel GT model kit, and back cover ad for MRC F-1 Honda, Lotus, and Porsche Carrera kits.

Condition is used, with some black marks on the cover over the title word 'car', paper loss along the upper right corner of cover, some cover edge wrinkles and creases, and wear.  Inside cover and first several pages have upper corner water stains.  No handwriting or other markings added.  Normal page yellowing present from age.
