From grade school onward, Heston was an avid graphic artist.  Throughout his acting career, he regularly sketched on-set occasionally exhibiting his drawings or using them as illustrations in his books.  We were unable to locate any other works of art by Heston available for sale at auction in the past 50 years making the present sketch extremely rare and highly desirable.
