Belize Rare Rare Rare Mule 1982 Reverse w/1974-78 Obverse, Major Error, Low Mintage, Noted that Possible this a Pattern with a Mintage of 3 coins. Gem BU, NGC 65, Specimen Strike, Copper-Nickel. Only 2 coins certified. Also Pictured the Normal 1982 10 Dollar Specimen Strike, Low Mintage of estimated less than 200 coins. Both Coins being sold.
Rare Rare Rare on this Error coin, Mule, with Obverse of 1974-78 KM45, and Reverse with 1982 Reverse, KM 69, this with the Smaller Belize Wreath and Belize outside the Wreath. This possible a Pattern Strike with a Mintage of 3-5 coins. So looks like when they were striking the 1982 10 Dollars, with the Yellow Crown Amazon Parrot, they used the older dies with the Obverse of the Great Curassow. A rare mismatch dies, called an Error Mule of two different Dies. Extremely rare coin and a Rare find on seeing something this rare on major error coins. If this was a US coin, over $10,000 or more, this being a popular collectable crown, major error coins are always in great demand. I would estimate a few coin released to the public, less than 5 coins and any that was found, destroyed. This listed in Krause as KM#80. Rarely will this coin come on the market, the first I have seen and owned. A rare find and a rare addition to your collection.
