The remaining stock, while still 100% new, either shows signs of light to moderate tarnish (fixable by use of lemon juice I have been told but cannot personally atest to), or has imperfect plating so there may be a blemish (most are very small or slight, a few are more moderate).  THE PLAY WILL NOT BE AFFECTED.  These $50-$60 mouthpieces that are no longer available in a unused state have been priced accordingly.
