This is a stunning large Limoges porcelain plate with an ornate gold-on-gold  border.  In our photos, it looks like gold on black, but it is really shiny gold on flat gold (which appears black in the pictures). There is much more brilliance when you see it in person. In the center of the plate is a nature scene of a pretty pair of birds. This would be very lovely to serve your favorite treats on or can be hung on the wall with a plate holder.

  It measures 12" in diameter and the bottom of the plate is marked  "Porcelaine  LG  T.Limoges-Dec.a la main".   It is new, unused, in perfect condition and was imported from Europe.
