Framed Print - US Navy WWII Mine Sweeper - USS Doyle DD494 / DMS 34 - Art by Carrie Fay - EXC

Framed print of an original watercolor by Carrie Fay. The print is protected behind a plexiglass sheet, and is in excellent condition. The destroyer/mine sweeper USS Doyle, commissioned from January 1943 to November 1951 and active during WWII from April 1943 to May 1945 in Normandy, South France, and again in the Pacific theatres - Japan, China, and coastal islands. The stainless steel frame measures 16 1/4" x 10 1/4" and 3/4" thick; the art framed in the matt board measures 13" x 7". Lot weight is 1 lb. 10 oz., estimated package weight is 3-4 lbs. Will be thoroughly padded and carefully packed for secure, intact delivery.
