An intriguing display piece purchased from an antique market in Tokyo which only happens once per year which I purchased a few years back. Used to display things like your special ceramics, however can be displayed for anything you desire.

Back when Japan had its impoverished past, the people used to utilise materials and things in all kinds of ways, nothing was ever wasted. Regret concerning waste "mottainai" which ties in with the Wabi-Sabi philosophy. This was originally a bucket used to carry tools in it, then a craftsman turned it into a display piece. Amazing shou sugi ban black colour on a really nice wood with iron detailing at the front!

It's so much better in real life!
