12V Remote Control Switch

This is a RF (Radio Frequency) 12v Remote Controller.

It operates from up to 25 metres away and the handheld Remote Controller does not need line of sight with the Switch Box to switch it on or off.

The Switch is programmable, so it is possible for one Remote to control one or several of these Switch Boxes.

Simply unscrew the Switch Box, then hold down the red button inside while pressing the ON button on the Remote Controller.

This will reprogram the Switch Box to this frequency.

The Input of the Switch Box is a 12v 55mm Socket

The Output is a 12v 25mm Jack Plug

This means it will plug in between a host of electrical items - and if yours does not have a jack plug fitted, it is ok to strip these off and wire in directly.

We stock a 12v 8xAA Battery Box, as well as powerful rechargeable Li-ion batteries, both with 25mm Jack Plugs that plug directly into this unit.

Also, our 12v EL Drivers will also plug into this remote controller as they have 55mm sockets on them to receive power.

We have developed this item for EL Wire but it is not solely for use with EL Drivers and has a range of uses wherever remotely controlling a 12v device is necessary.

The Maximum charge this device allows is 6A which is pretty high for a 12v Device (72W).
