VINYL LP RECORD CENTER/LABEL: JOHN COLTRANE A Love Supreme IMPULSE APO Sides 3&4

This item is actually the center circle of an LP record that was punched out. This was among the LPs that were judged to be detective by the pressing plant (Quality Record Pressings) and the vinyl was recycled, except for the centers with the paper labels, which were punched out and discarded (and subsequently rescued from a dumpster). The centers were discarded so that the quality of the recycled vinyl would not be affected by adding the paper labels in the recycling process. Centers are 4-inches in diameter.

There are paper labels on both sides of the center, comprising Sides 3 and 4. This is from an APO audiophile 2-record 12-inch 45rpm reissue of John Coltrane: A Love Supreme on Impulse!. There is light damage on the labels.

These centers could be used for wall or decor or coasters, or to hang in mobiles, or for other creative or decorative purposes. (Buyers please let me know what you intend to do with them!)

I have many more records, CDs and magazines listed at my eBay store, BluEsoterica.com Mail Order, and if you are in Kansas City, see my bins at Happy Rock Antiques, 100 NW 72nd St. in Gladstone, MO (10 miles north of downtown KC via U.S. Highway 169). The store is open every day (10am-8 pm Tuesday through Saturday, noon-5pm Sunday, 10am-6pm Monday). My booth is number 152 (the one with the most soul, jazz and blues records; there are several other booths with records, too).
