This is a pack of over 50 photo pictures depicting breakfast items. These are essential for helping non verbal children, young people and adults, or those suffering from memory loss, choose the items they want for breakfast or for the carers to show them what they are to have and in what order.
The picture cards come in three sizes and have looped Velcro dots on the back. They are suitable for all communication systems and books/folders. For example ABA, Pecs, story lines, story boards, sentence strip, schedules, communication books, and many other communication methods. The key ring option makes transportation between places very easy and is a good size to put into a bag, pocket or folder. The key ring does not have the Velcro loops on the back. All the items come with either square corners or rounded courners. Please choose the corners you want.
The Flash cards are approx. 7 cm X 10 cm and we offer them as a loose set or on a key ring. This size of key ring is excellent for having in a more permanent place or hanging up with other sets. The choice boards are ideal for putting in a folder and are supplied as 8 pictures on a page.

As children/ young people/ adults with difficulties are often visual learners these images help with transference and recall and help implant the actions into their memory.
All our items come packed in a re-usable folder for safe storage when not being used.

This is a fantastic teaching aid and ideal for developing the individual. The pack is perfect in any setting, including schools, nurseries, care settings, childminders and personal home use and will help all children/young person/adults who have autism, special needs, Dementia, learning difficulties, memory loss and also those learning English as a second language. It is also ideal as an Early Learning Aid.
If using a visual communication system for the first time there are things you may need to consider such as the age and dexterity of your child/young person/adult. So we offer the square cards in three sizes with Velcro loop dots on the back.
The 6cm pictures are especially good for young children and those with visual difficulties. The very popular 4.5cm pictures are great for children/young people/adults who are learning how to use a visual communication and while they develop their fine motor skills. They are easier to use than the 3 cm pictures which are for the more practised person.
You may also wish to think about how portable your system might need to be and how many cards your child/young person/adult will possibly have to carry around, as this may determine the size of the pictures you want. Many people use a larger size at home or school/activity/care centre and use a smaller more portable set when travelling between places. Consider buying two sets so you can have one at home or school and one at another place which is attended regularly and where they will want to communicate. Consistency is very important.
