I recommend to use a fine cotton cloth over the patch while appliance
On this listing, you will find also, waterproof fabric, patches. The patch has applied glue on the back side, it holds a temperature up to 200º ( about linen settings on the iron). If you work with outdoor fabrics, please make a test first, as some fabrics may melt in high temperatures. In such a situation, we recommend using fabric glue or stitch down the patch
