This is a set of 14 position / location pictures which are suitable for all communication systems and books/folders. For example ABA, Pecs, story lines, story boards, sentence strip, schedules, time tables, communication books, and many other communication methods. The key ring option makes transportation and communication between places very easy.

The sets are available in four different sizes and also on key rings and can be either with square corners or with rounded ones. We also do these cards as choice boards. There are three different packs as well as the individual items:-

The Combined Pack contains: - a set of 4.5 cards and another on a key ring, a set of flash cards and another set of flash cards on a key ring.

The 4.5 card pack contains: - a set of 4.5 cm cards and another set on a key ring.

The flash cards pack contains: - a set of flash cards and another set on a key ring.

This is an excellent pack to start with when using a visual communication system or as an accompaniment to other pack. The pictures are easily understood by the child/adult and they will learn to use them quickly.

The cards are laminated, so they can be wiped clean and have Velcro on the back to attach to strips, boards and timetables. The flash cards and key ring options do not have Velcro on. All our items come packed in a re-usable folder for safe storage when not being used.

This is a fantastic teaching aid and ideal for developing the individual. The pack is perfect in any setting, including schools, nurseries, care homes, childminders and personal home use and will help all children/young adults/adults who have autism/special needs/learning difficulties. It is also ideal as an Early Learning Aid.

If using a visual communication system for the first time there are things you may need to consider such as the age and dexterity of your child. So we offer the packs in three sizes, plus flash cards.

The 6cm pictures are especially good for young children and those with visual difficulties. The very popular 4.5cm pictures are great for children/adults who are learning how to use a visual communication and while they develop their fine motor skills. They are easier to use than the much smaller 3 cm pictures which are for the more practised children/adults.

You may also wish to think about how portable your system might need to be and how many cards your child/adult will possibly have to carry around, as this may determine the size of the pictures you want. Many people use a larger size at home or school/activity and use a smaller more portable set when travelling between places. Consider eventually buying two sets so you can have one at home and one at another place which is attended regularly and where they will want to communicate. Consistency is very important.
