It's in very good condition with some light water marks and scratches on the casing lid. Keyboard and Screen are in very good & scratch free condition. A very fast machine with MS Windows 7 - Ultimate OS pre-installed with a host of Sony configuration, power management tools etc. software and some trial office 2010 software from Microsoft. This notebook is really fast and can process multiple applications with considerable ease. Thanks to Intel's Multi-thread Speed Step technology. The widescreen from Sony X-Black is crisp clear and extremely bright with vibrant colours. With dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT GPU this is an excellent platform for a great mobile gaming experience!
It will come with a box, no charger, backup DVD's if i still have them and no 320GB Sata HDD or caddy included. Sold as is. There is a problem with the battery however, it does not charge so its not working. You will need a new battery for this machine if you buy it. They are only £10-15 on ebay. A very beautifully crafted and sculptured machine with a brown bronze textured casing and the latest Sony Vaio soft touch tactile keyboard. Fantastic piece of kit, very fast and stylish in Sony VAIO's tradition of build quality, performance and reliability. Description of Fault: The notebook was working fine until recently, but now is not working at all. The display showed alot of artifacts (vertical and horizontal lines and blotches) when booting up and when loading into windows. This is a typical graphics GPU BGA fault. I tried to fix it, but managed to make things worse. The vaio notebook now, when power button is pressed only shows power light and occassional HDD light, with no display on LCD screen. Everything else was working fine up until fault occured. So, all other perpherals like the CPU, LCD Display Panel, Keyboard, RAM Modules, WiFi Card, Modem, Sony DVD Optiarc Drive should work fine. I am selling this as a spares and or repairs only (no returns). The underneath screws on this notebook are all missing.
