stamps were obtained from the NEW GENERATION HYTECH Machine A003 situated in the museum shop at
The Fleet Air Arm Museum in Yeovilton on the 14th April 2015. These are FIRST DAY ISSUE Strips ! The overprint on these stamps is 'The FAAM' These stamps were obtained from the A003 Machine, last seen at Spring Stampex 2015. Serial Number : B4GB15 A003..... For those who don't know what this string of numbers mean, the B stands for the new B series of machines, the 4 is the month(April) the stamp was issued, the GB is self explanatory as is the year 2015 ! This is machine A003 and the next two are session and number of transactions in that session You will receive a strip of 6 stamps with one of each of the following values if you order a Collector Strip : 1st Class 1st Class LARGE Euro 20g World 10g Europe up to 60g Worldwide up to 20g Worldwide up to 60g You will receive a strip of 6 stamps each with a FIRST CLASS Value, if you order a First Class Strip Depending on which selection you select, you will either receive a UNION FLAG or MACHIN Strip. Retail Value (as at 19th April 2015) : £7.68 for the Collector Strip OR £3.78 for the 1st Class Strip PLEASE NOTE THE SERIAL NUMBERS WILL DIFFER TO THOSE IN THE PHOTO ! A RECEIPT WILL BE SUPPLIED FOR EVERY STRIP, CONFIRMING THE VENUE AND THE FACT THAT THESE WERE FIRST DAY ISSUE STAMPS. Stamps have no 'use by' date If you wish to pay by cheque, please allow for clearance times.
