The COLVA rug is a gorgeous shade of sandy beige broken up by stylish two-tone stripes in off white chenille with hand tied fringed finish and thick tassels.  Hand woven on a flat loom, the sustainable jute and recycled yarn makes the Colva a fabulous eco-friendly choice.

COLVA RANGE like its namesake beach in Kerala, is a gorgeous natural shade of sandy beige. The warm tones of jute are broken up with stylish off-white pin stripes in thick chenille - meaning that the rug feels soft underfoot.  The weave finishes with dense hand tied jute fringing adding to the rustic style.

CHOOSE FROM FIVE SIZES - If you are looking to mix and match a little then you will find five sizes to choose from. A small 60 cm x 90 cm or 70 cm x 130 cm runner; a medium 90 cm x 150 cm and a long runner in 70 cm x 200 cm. Also, a larger 120 cm x 180 cm.  Perfect for many spaces in the home.

ETHICALLY SOURCED - Produced by one of our favourite GoodWeave suppliers and part of a closed network of certified producers. Each rug is individually numbered so that you can be sure of its unique handling and its ethical source. Our certification fees help to fund education centres for children and young people.

ECO-FRIENDLY - There are no synthetic fabrics or raw materials in the Colva range. Instead, our producer uses yarn which has been spun from sustainable jute and recycled cotton.  This helps us to reduce waste. The flat weave style is hand woven on a traditional loom and no machinery is involved. Each one is unique.

CARE OF YOUR RUG - The finished piece is reversible meaning that it can be folded or rolled up when not in use. It can be shaken, or spot cleaned if necessary. If placing on a hard floor you may need rug mesh or similar to hold it in place.
