HONDA VFR800 (98-01 ) FAIRING & SCREEN STAINLESS BOLTS

HONDA VFR800

( 1998 - 2001 )

STAINLESS STEEL BOLT KIT FOR FAIRING, SCREEN

Please read the whole of the listing with regards to the head dimensions of the stainless screws

This kit replaces most of the bolts for fairing & windshield with a mixture of stainless button head & flange head bolts for the Honda VFR800 - ( year 1998 - 2001 ) - these are not Honda manufactured items.

Included in this kit are the fasteners for the top & bottom cowls, the mirror mounts, fairing inserts but DO NOT include the special ( 2 ) lower fairing fasteners that are a Honda product.

Where required there are also nylon ( anti-scratch ) washers and stainless washers.

If you would rather have all button head or all flange head bolts please specify at time of payment - the main use for the flange heads is for the outer fairing screws where more support is needed by the larger heads of the flanges.

I have included a photo of the 2 types of bolts/screws - the flange head being on the left.

I also sell a kit that includes one of the tail fairing bolts together with the rear hand grip securing bolts. Please see my other listing for that item.

I also do fairing bolt kits in stainless steel for the Kawasaki ZX6R, Suzuki Hayabusa, Yamaha FJR1300 and Ducati m/cycles as well as selling  well nuts in M4, M5 & M6 sizes.

To avoid any further confusion - for those of you who are not familiar with these screws the button heads are a standard produced item to a specified head diameter - there is no small or large headed button head in stainless that is commercially available unless you have very deep pockets.

The button head  head-diameters are  M5: 9.5mm & M6: 10.0mm.

The flange head head-diameters are M5: 11.75mm & M6: 13.5mm

THE simple solution for eBay sellers.

Owing to the current restrictions my local Post Office has now stated that they will only open on Mondays and Fridays each week until further notice. Therefore if you buy an item between those days there will be a delay in posting. My nearest other Post Office is 13 miles away and not an essential journey

There is now another change to the local Post Office service in that I am only able to post in the morning of Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday each week whilst the restrictions continue
