This is a set of 8 cards and other aids designed to help a person control feelings of panic and stress. They can take steps with the suggested aids to overcome stimuli that maybe threaten to overwhelm them. All of the items can be used independently or together to enable a person to calm down and take control of their situation, helping with anger management and stress. Having visual aids such as these, not only help the individual with using strategies, but also alert and re-enforce their need for help and guidance from the teacher, parent or other care provider.

There is a highly visible large 'Help' Card, (19 X 8 cm), designed to be seen easily when a person holds it up or puts it in a designated place, drawing the attention of the teacher or carer to their need.

There are also 4 Desk Prompts, (15 X 6.5 cm), which are designed to be seen clearly when a child/young person/adult needs to use the easily understood instructions or they can be held up or put in a designated place, again drawing the attention of the teacher or carer to their difficulty.

The A4 Wall Chart is a great reminder to have on the wall for easy identification and reference to the steps that can be taken to 'calm down'. This also helps others in the same situation, not just the person it is aimed at, as well a reference point for the care giver.

The combined pack contains one of each of the above items, i.e. A set of cards, a Key Ring, a large Help Card, a set of Desk Cards and an A4 Wall Chart.

All items are laminated, so they can be wiped clean and come packed in re-usable folders for safe storage when not being used. We can supply in different languages, please message us for details.

Consider eventually buying two sets of the items you choose so you can have one set at home and one at another place which is attended regularly and where they will want to communicate their panic. Consistency is very important.
