REMOVABLE RCA/PHONO & EARTH PLATE MODIFICATION FITS TECHNICS SL 1200 SL1210.. it replaces the old SFDH122-05 RJL4P002S12 RJL2P009S12 Technics parts.

These kits can be used with internally grounded decks but we prefer to use the earth.

Contained in this kit is.

1 x black Aluminium plate, same size and thickness as the original technics part

2 x High Quality Robust RCA chassis mount sockets, with rubber insulators for inner and outer.

2 x plastic chassis 90 degree male to

female RCA adapters.

1 x 4mm earth post including nuts and crinkle washer.

1 x upgraded 14 gauge internal earth lead, which goes from the terminal board to the earth post. It has a crimp circle connectoron one end to attach to the earth post, the other end gets soldered to where the old earth is removed from.

1 x 1.2m long upgraded 14 gauge external earth lead which has a circular crimp connector on one end which attaches to the external part of the earth post and a crimp fork connector to connect it to the mixer/amp.

These kits were designed and manufactured by Technicsworx (in the UK) for a few different reasons.

To eliminate the need to open up a deck just to replace the phono cables or the earth.

Sometimes decks get flight cased and carted around, it’s never good to have cables moving around in a flight case so we also make removable power cable kits (see one of our other listings)

Sometimes people need longer RCA’s or Earth leads.

Also Many people strive to improve the audio quality from their beloved 1200/1210. So you can now have pure silver litz wire from the headshell right back to the RCA sockets, if you chose then also use High grade RCA cables. Using one of our other kits.

The plates are solid aluminium which is more rigid than the original plate (and mounts using the same 2 screws from the one you removed) the RCA sockets are a screw fixed, high quality pair with a solid metal construction manufactured in the USA.

The earth post is also high quality 4mm post with a removable knurled knob in the out side and nut and crinkle washer on the inside

They are a perfect fit and must be installed in the same orientation as the pictures illustrate. As the pictures show there is no cable clearance issues even when only using standard feet. The paint is a thin single layer satin black as these are an internal product and never seen so I don’t see any need to add to the price with a high quality durable finish.
