Please be sure to measure your can before ordering!! For the CC1, CC2, CC3, CC4 & CC5, the can top must be 2 1/8" (2.125") (53.81 mm), or they won't fit.
!!! There are different sized cans, so if your can isn't like the cans I have in my pictures, Example: Coke has cans that are straight from top to bottom, and also cans that curve in on top, AND SO ARE THE CAMPBELL CHUNKY SOUP CANS!! They are different sizes!!! YOU HAVE TO MEASURE YOUR CAN, because the caps may not fit. It is impossible for me to know which cap (if any) will fit YOUR can. I can't see it from here!!
A basic pop can is the same width as a credit card.
TO POP THE LID ON, PUT IT ON THE CAN ON ONE SIDE, THEN SLIDE YOUR FINGERS AROUND THE EDGE TO THE OTHER SIDE TILL IT SNAPS ON.
I am offering several styles of can caps. They're especially useful during the hot & long dog days of summer. Summer days invite bees, flies, ants & other insects right to your can. Keep them out with a snap! Please read the description of each before ordering, so you know what you're getting!!
CC1 (these are the plastic caps with the spout) They have a spout that opens and snaps closed. The spout does not have a screen in it. The spout is not a real snug seal, if you bump the can over on it's side, it may come open. The price is for one cap. If you want a tight seal to keep fizz in overnight, I recommend either CC2 or CC4. CC2 (These are the thin ones with the little tab) These are simple flat caps that work great. These durable, hard plastic can covers are very high quality, and developed, manufactured & distributed in the U.S.A. CC3 (You might remember these, as they used to be CC8) They have a TALL spout. As with any of the spout caps, make sure you line the spout up with the opening of your can, or you'll have a mess :-) CC4 These are the sturdies caps I have. Personally, these are my favorites, snug fit and they will not break.
**THE FOLLOWING CAPS ARE FOOD GRADE SILICONE. Silicone is soft and somewhat flexible, but they don't stretch and they may not seal as well as the plastic caps. These caps are NOT a snug fit!!! Meaning that they may not keep the fizz in and may leak if tipped to the side.
CC5, CC5-A & CC5-B - These are the smallest of the silicone caps. These caps are NOT a snug fit!!!!! But they do fit on regular pop cans & the 12 oz. Red Bull can. They are the same diameter as the plastic caps (above). CC5-A - This is a basic cap with ripples around the edge. CC5-B - This is a cap with ripples around the edge and it has a spout.
CC6 - This is a MEDIUM silicone cap. These caps are NOT a snug fit!!!!! But they do fit on the 16 oz. Red Bull can. !!!NOT ALL 16 OZ. CANS ARE THE SAME SIZE ON TOP!!! Your can MUST be this size: 2 3/16" CC7 LARGE SILICONE caps These caps are NOT a snug fit!!!!! But they do fit on the 23oz. Arizona Tea can. I tested this cap with water in it, it did not leak by tilting the can, only when can was tipped and shaken. Your can MUST be this size: 2 1/2"
FOOD CAN CAPS (FC - STRETCH LIDS) Once again, please measure your can, I took pictures with some cans that each size cap will fit. Not sure why the large Campbell Soup cans don't fit any of the snap-on caps, they just HAD to use an unusual size can!!!! But the SMALL stretch lids do fit. and..... I added the multi-size stretch covers, that will fit over most containers.
FOOD CAN CAPS (SNAP ON LIDS) These are clear plastic lids that snap on. Once again, please measure your can. The sizes noted are the CAN diameter. See pictures. I searched the store for can sizes. 99% of cans that fit the 3" lids, are actually 2 15/16". The 3" lids fit perfectly. I do have a large supply of lids that are just a tiny bit bigger, so if you ever find a can that is exactly 3" wide, let me know, cause these may fit. I have yet to find a 3" can, so measure carefully. I don't have these listed so to prevent confusion, cause they are about 1/16" too big for a 2 15/16" can.
