Maximum temperature for continuous operation above pH10 is 95F (35C). Under certain conditions, the presence of free chlorine and other oxidizing agents will cause premature membrane failure. Since oxidation damage is not covered under warranty, Dow Water & Process Solutions recommends removing residual free chlorine by pretreatment prior to membrane exposure. Please refer to technical bulletin "Dechlorinating Feedwater"for more information.

Actual membrane performance may vary, dependent on a number of factors outside of our control (water temperature, water pressure, water source, water contaminants, TDS, silt index, pH, alkalinity). Typical % rejection, based on TDS, is 95-98%. We guarantee the membranes to be authentic Filmtec membranes, manufactured in the USA. To verify authenticity download the Dupont Water App from the App store. Scan the membrane. The scan will authenticate the membrane and provide the membrane serial number. The membrane serial number and date of purchase are required for any warranty claim filed with Dow Filmtec.
