It is beautifully painted with an abundance of intricate floral detailing done in deep blue cobalt color over a high gloss porcelain. The rim of the bowl curves around the edge of the inside design and has a stunning shape. If you look closely you can see wonderful age cracking to the glaze which measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter by 1 1/4 inches deep in exquisite shape
