This is a chic little mid-fifties era dress by L'Aiglon.
Size not marked, but probably a modern Small to Extra Small.
Please check measurements to best estimate fit.
Shown unclipped on my size 4 dress form, with a little extra room.
Fabric is a slinky knit - I believe it is nylon.
Wonderful modern abstract art painterly print in indigo blue, violet, black and orange.
Bias cut bodice has draped neckline.
Three-quarter length sleeves.
Fitted waist.
Full pleated skirt.
Metal back zip with hook and eye.
Unlined.
Great mid-century secretary look.
Designer label and union label date to the 1950s.
Really cute with a metal chain or mesh belt - NOT INCLUDED.
Shown with a petticoat - not included.
BELT NOT INCLUDED.
In excellent vintage condition - beautifully preserved with no damage. Clean and ready to wear.
