Vintage Fine Nice Electrician Style Military Pocket Knife with 2 1/2" Standard Spear Point Blade, 2 1/2" Screwdriver-tip Blade, Center Locking Liner, & Composite Handle Made by Camillus Cutlery Company

Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States founded by Adolph Kastor in 1876.  In the early years, the company imported and distributed German-made knives.  In 1897, it started manufacturing knives and by 1910, it was producing close to a million knives a year and had about 200 employees, many of them German immigrants.  Due to fierce overseas competition and bad business skills, Camillus Cutlery Company filed for bankruptcy in 2007.  Its brand name and intellectual property rights were purchased by Acme United Corporation, which re-launched the Camillus brand in May 2009 using modern materials.

Camillus is also an active contract manufacturer for government.  This pocket knife with model TL-29 is a military item.  It has good snap at opening, closing, and half way stop.

It has the wonderful condition.  Just great to collect or even reuse.
