This is an original unused promo poster for Stray Toasters from 1988. It features artwork by the legendary artist Bill Sienkiewicz, who is well-known for classic work on Elektra: Assassin, Moon Knight, Fantastic Four, Big Numbers, The New Mutants, Batman, X-Men, and many other titles. The poster is in very good overall condition, with no pinholes, tears, or other major wear commonly seen on vintage posters or prints, but does have general handling wear with light bending around the edges, and a more pronounced bend mark around the middle left side edge above and below the fold line. It does not really show in the scan, so please be aware of this. It measures approximately 11" by 17" when unfolded and is blank on the reverse side. This is a very cool and rare comic collectible, as they were for promotional use and were not made for resale. Promotional posters like this one were not mass-produced or available to the general public, and were often thrown away, so to find a classic one like this that is more than 30 years old and has not been pinned with tacks or taped is rare indeed. This is an outstanding piece that would look fantastic framed, and would be a great addition to the collection of any Sienkiewicz fan.
