This is a vintage wind-up toy which was made between 1945 and 1952. It's a brown squirrel with a fluffy fur tail. When you wind him up, he scurries forward in a semi-circle! There are two flaws: one of his button eyes is missing and the material around his left back paw is worn bare. There's an original paper sticker on his underside marked Made in Occupied Japan. The original key comes with him. He is 7" from nose to tail tip and 1¾" wide. He is in working condition at 75 years old!!
