This painting depicts the moment when you slapped on some old galoshes, grabbed your plastic gun, slipped into a pair dynamite jammies and were equipped to go out and save the damn universe. This kid defends the galaxy alright...on his time. He's the latest edition in my "Backyard Bastards" painting lineup.  His heroics are a little rough around the edges, starting with his utter refusal to give a shit...Smoke dangling, tattoo blinding would be evil-doers with it's sheer bad-assery and a mouth better suited for the high seas than the playground.
