Here we have a great poster reminiscent of a bygone era when carnivals and fairs featured popular exhibits of human or animal curiosity commonly referred to as freak shows. "Adonis The African Midget" performed at the Royal Aquarium in 1885. Our research indicates that the gentleman was from the Cape of Good Hope and stood at 36 inches tall. Originally printed by George Webb Lithographer of 55 Waterloo Road in London. Our posters are shipped in sturdy mailing tubes, fully insured!

This poster is printed on heavy, 230 gsm (10 pt cover), premium matte art paper. Posters are centered on full sized paper to accommodate readily available frames or custom matting. The image size refers specifically to the artwork itself, not the size of the paper it is printed on. Therefore, the paper size is always larger than the image size.  All posters have a minimum 1/4" white border.
