Barrier - the limit at which the controller emits a signal about the presence of metal near the search coil. The barrier serves to suppress the metal detector reaction (false signals) in the case of highly mineralized soil, and also acts as a sensitivity regulator.
Discrim - metal clipping mode. It has 5 provisions - 1,2,3,4, No. In No mode, discrimination is disabled and the detector searches for all metals. In this mode, only the metal selection scale works (the upper scale on the screen).
In mode 1 - the metal detector cuts off (does not respond) small black metal objects such as nails.
In mode 2 - cutting off of ferrous metals the size of a knife, seaming lid, etc.
In mode 3 - the metal detector cuts off all ferrous metals.
In mode 4 - cutting off all ferrous metals, as well as alloys in which ferrous metals are present.
Therefore, in these four modes, the metal detector locates objects made of non-ferrous metals, and allows ferrous metals to pass through - cuts off depending on the set position.

The lower left side is the amplitude, distance or magnitude of the subject
Bottom right - shows the battery charge.
