Our Slate door number plaques are made from the highest quality Locally Sourced Natural Welsh Slate ‘from the foot of Snowdonia Mountain’. Your house number will be by default printed using a state of the art UV-Cured Outdoor Stable Ink (bright white in colour and complety weatherproof). This is far superior to Laser Engraving or Etching. The colour is guaranteed to stay vivid and bright and will still be legible in the rain. If you do prefer the item to be Laser Engraved / Etched instead then please let us know at checkout via a note. We can offer all options, Though we strongly advice against Laser Engraving for natural slate as customers are often disappointed by how poorly the marking contrast is, especially when text is very faint in the rain.
Treated and Untreated is available as an added option, though not required, this simply gives the slate an all year round wet look appearance, enhancing the natural colours in the slate and enhancing the rustic edge.
