NB! Slightly increased bedding-in time compared to RS due to the increased pad durability
As of October 2020 the RST range is replacing the RS range. With increased braking power and even better brake feel and control, riders just have to be aware of a slightly increased bedding-in time compared to the RS compound due to the increased durability. All RST pads are enforced with NRS. The NRS Nucap Retension System is an advanced mechanical bonding technology based on a matrix of steel hooks raised from the backing plate steel material. The NRS hooks mold into the friction material creating an indestructible and corrosion safe mechanical bond without any use of adhesive.
Main advantage of NRS technology –
No separation between the back plate and friction material
No lifting edges of the friction material giving a firm lever feel
No vibration between the friction material and back plate
