Harvard Apparatus Homeothermic Monitor 230/240 Volts 50-7213

"Please Note No Accessories Are Included In The Sale Price Head Unit Only"

The system is a closed loop temperature control and stabilisation system. The rectal probe monitors the temperature,; the control unit uses this information to control the power to the blanket. The power to the blanket is DC and is never switched off thus there will be no switching artefacts to interfere with physiological parameters that may be being recorded from the subject. The temperature display is now linear, so it can be used as a temperature monitor over a much greater range.  The unit has built-in Max and Min temperature alarms.  The user can choose between displaying the temperature in oC or oF.  There is now a hysterisis control to help reduce over-shoot of the set temperature.

The angled front panel display shows: temperature as monitored by the probe, the set temperature, alarm settings and whether the blanket is “floating” or “earthed”. There is an “output power” indicator for the blanket also. On the front panel, there are two controls (for the system settings) a socket for connecting the rectal probe and a socket for connecting the blanket.
