Typical of the Period this fine quality Cameo Brooch, which weighs 8.2 grams & measures approx' 3.4cms by 2.8cms, is stamped to the reverse with a Fineness Mark '9ct' confirming that it is made from solid 9ct Gold. 

Overall this wonderful Vintage Cameo Brooch is in great condition, with no cracks or shell lines. On close examination the pin has probably been replaced historically with a base metal example, but it works perfectly with the original hinge & Secure Catch.
