El uso de un cuerpo engrosado y una cola larga y delgada resulta en un trabajo de señuelo excepcional. El señuelo funciona perfectamente para la pesca de precas y truchas. Funcionan muy bien en cabezas plomadas. Efectos muy interesante se consigue utilizando un señuelo en métodos dropshot, Texas o Carolina rig o con cheburashka.
