Wire mesh ribbon is very soft and comfortable to wear. Wire mesh ribbon can be cut with a pair of regular household scissors. Wire mesh ribbon can be used as is, or stretched into interesting shapes, so it is ideal for jewellery making, floristry and other craft activities such as scrapbooking. Wire mesh ribbon can be pulled gently to create a ruffled look. Pulling the sides of the ribbon in one direction only will give a flat look. Pulling the ribbon in different directions will give the ribbon a spiral shape. The ribbon holds its shape fairly well when ruffled, but if beads or a pendant are suspended from it, their weight may pull the ruffles flat. Use jewellery wire, beading chain or some other fixed length of cord/chain to maintain the desired necklace length.
